What I Do

  • Therapy for stress management, burnout recovery and prevention.

  • Alleviate symptoms of anxiety and depression.

  • Help parents to navigate through unique mental health challenges that can arise throughout the perinatal period.

  • Trauma informed therapy.

  • Treatment for insomnia.

  • Guidance on enhancing communication skills, which are essential for nurturing healthy family dynamics.

  • Support for those experiencing disenfranchised grief - a type of grief often minimized, misunderstood, or unacknowledged by social norms. This includes grief from stigmatized losses and family difficulties such as divorce, estrangement, or separation due to situations like incarceration, job obligations, and military deployment, which can leave individuals feeling alone and invalidated.

  • For those who seek it, I can integrate spiritual care into therapy, ensuring a personalized and meaningful therapeutic experience. My approach to spiritual care is rooted in Christian values, and I offer a compassionate and judgment-free space that resonates with those seeking spiritual alignment.

  • My work is to walk alongside you on your journey, offering guidance and support that align with your personal values and aspirations, while you do your own inner and outer work.

Work Experience

I have years of rich experience in the field of behavioral health. I have worked in various roles, including a Crisis Counselor, a Hospital ED Crisis Clinician during COVID-19, an Urgent Care Clinical Supervisor providing consultation on behavioral health emergency cases, and a Clinical Supervisor for a community behavioral health center.

Crisis Counselor

As a Crisis Counselor, I have provided support to individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health crises, through a 24-hour crisis phone line. I have helped people navigate through difficult situations, provided emotional support, and connected them with appropriate resources.

Hospital ED Crisis Clinician during COVID-19

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked as a Hospital ED Crisis Clinician. I provided crisis intervention services to patients in the emergency department who were experiencing a mental health crisis. I also collaborated with hospital staff who were caring for the physical needs of clients.

Urgent Care Clinical Supervisor & Clinical Supervisor for a Community Behavioral Health Center

As a Clinical Supervisor, in addition to providing therapy to clients, I have supervised a team of clinicians who provided mental health services to individuals in the community. I have provided clinical supervision, training, and support to my team, and helped them develop their skills and knowledge.
